About the Event
5v5 adapted Full court games
- Individual players can register via the attached registration form.
- Team leaders can enter their players if they have their details, alternatively, all players need to register as part of their team.
This tournament allows players that are not affiliated with other teams or clubs to enter. However, all participants are be required to affiliate to Basketball England before taking part. Players already affiliated to BE via their own home clubs don't need to pay for a new affiliation but they will need to log in to the BE membership portal to affiliate to the Community Basketball Initiative CA3371.
We have created a Code of Conduct to preserve our participant's quality of experience at any events provided by the CBI. This tournament is for non-national league players.

Amount: £10 (Individuals need to pay in advance to secure booking) or £80 Team (TEAMS need to pay a deposit of half the entry price £40 to secure a TEAM booking)

2. Pay on the Day: Cash or card (booking not secured unless payment made in advance)
£10 per individual player.
£80 per team (i.e. Payment is to be organised by the team leader/coach only).
Whichever is cheaper
1. Full refunds will be given if the event is cancelled by the organisers.
2. Full refunds will be given if a player is unable to attend upon proof of positive covid test. (NHS text message).
3. A full refund will be given if teams are unable to attend and have given at least 48hrs notice to organisers.
4. No refund will be given if teams do not show up on the day without prior warning (unless proof is shown of point 2).

CAN I REGISTER AS INDIVIDUAL?
Yes, If you are an individual looking for a team, please contact us and we will do our best to assign you to a team. You will need to register your personal details and make sure you are BE affiliated. The cost to enter as an individual is £10.
CAN I REGISTER AS PART OF A TEAM?
All players are required to complete the player registration form or have a team leader/coach that will ensure to send us all players registration details, including email and telephone numbers. Cost for a team entry of maximum 10 players is £80
Team leaders/coaches are responsible for their teams. This includes ensuring team payment is done in time, having all players registered correctly, arriving on time, managing the team during games, communicating with the tournament manager and ensuring their players follow the code of conduct. Finally, please tell us if there are any medical conditions we should be aware of and of any restrictions in filming and photography.
Maximum of 8 teams.
National League players or above are not allowed.
Individual registrations will be added to a team of a minimum of 6 players.
Example: If we have 6 or 8 teams registered, we will play a round-robin tournament, one 3rd place game and one final game. If we have an uneven number of teams we may have to adapt games and you may not be able to play against every other team.
BASIC GAME RULES (THESE SERVE AS GUIDANCE BUT CAN BE ADAPTED ON THE DAY IF APPROPRIATE)
Adapted FIBA 5v5 rules will apply.
In order to save time, we will play in one direction only. I.e. no halftime. Coin toss will offer the team to chose direction.
Teams will be allowed 1 x 30sec time out.
Players will foul out at 4 fouls. Team fouls after the 6th foul.
No stopping the clock at any time except when requested by the referee at the last minute of the game.
There will be 1 x referee per game. Referees may not be level 2 qualified referees but they will at least be level 2 qualified coaches with experience.
Substitutions will be done following official FIBA rules. i.e. the coach/leader will ask the table for subs which will alert the referee.
