The Community Run

WHAT IS AN OPEN RUN?

Open runs are an opportunity to play 5v5 basketball with coaches on hand to assist if necessary. Whether you are part of a team or not, open runs allow players to just come in and play games as opposed to training or official games. At our Open Run, our managers and coaches will organise the games. There are no referees, but we set out in our code of conduct the importance of behaving respectfully to staff and players. Just register online, get added to your group's WhatsApp and let us know when you are coming. The cost is £7 pp.

WHAT ARE OPEN TOURNAMENTS?

Open Tournaments are an opportunity for players who enjoy basketball either at school, in a team or even if they have only recently become interested in basketball, to play 5v5 with referees. Our coaches will be on hand to help with players' needs. Teams need to register in advance.

*Remember the Community Basketball Initiative Open Run and Tournaments are designed to create a positive basketball community environment for all ages and offer a chance for people of all abilities to play basketball. Please read our Code of Conduct.
