The Open Run is a project by the Community Basketball Initiative to get more primary age kinds playing 5v5 basketball games. The sessions are 2 hours long and open to any young person of primary age that wants to join in (We do have a limit of 40 participants per event). Our experienced coaches will welcome the new players and ease them into the games /m tournaments. You dont need to bring anything other than indoor sports shoes, a water bottle and sporty clothes. Parents are allowed to stay and watch either inside the hall or from the sports hall balcony. 

A strict minimum understanding of the principles of the game is required but if you dont have this knowledge but still want to join, let us know in advance so we can explain the basic rules of the game for yout to join in.  We believe, it is by playing 5v5 games and enjoying the game as its suposed to be that most young people will develop an interest and get hooked into basketball. The Open Run will be available regualrly throughout the year for young peopel to enjoy. We are also happy to support links with basketball clubs.
