The CBI are passionate about developing basketball and thrive at promoting the positive effect it can have on most people, especially primary age kids!. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn and to play basketball at least once as it will improve the participants' endurance, motor control, ankle stability, balance, coordination, mental and physical agility and social skills. This is why, we decided to consult our primary school partners, School Games Organisers, as well as other professional sport and coaching groups to create a programme designed to complement primary school's PE. Our focus includes following National Curriculum guidance and practical CPD opportunities for teachers. ABOUT US
The CBI cares about quality, which is why we will tailor our offer and provide qualified coaches graduated in PE, Level 2 NGB coaching qualification, Safeguarding certified, up to date DBS checks and PLI. over ten years experience and are passionate about what we do therefore guaranteeing a professional and enjoyable coaching programme.
NATIONAL CURRICULUM
Our Coaching programmes and CPD awards are specially designed to suit national curriculum PE guidelines at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We aim to provide the highest quality of experience to participants and teachers.
TEACHERS CPD
With 3 levels of CPD training available. We can guarantee to meet teacher's interest and availability. We have plenty of experience delivering NGB recognised awards and can easily adjust to your interest and requirements. You will also receive a pack with resources with plenty of games and coaching ideas to use in future years.
EQUIPEMENT
We have portable hoops adjustable for kids aged 5 to 11 years old, basketballs of all sizes, bibs, cones and other basketball coaching games. We can deliver sessions in small or larger halls as well as indoor or outdoor.
